Who I Am

I’m Kazi Nasir — known by multiple confined terms such as a storyteller, researcher, or reporter. I’m an explorer of diverse realms in the quest to know myself. With a background in journalism and a deep curiosity for the world, I explore everything from ground-level human stories to global issues that shape our times.

I’m a graduate of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and hold a postgraduate diploma in journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Jammu. Professionally, I’ve worked with Times Internet, where I engaged with fast-paced digital newsrooms and gained hands-on experience in content production, editorial judgment, and digital storytelling. I’ve also contributed to SMEStreet as a news researcher and reporter, focusing on the MSME sector, market trends, and human-centred business narratives. Beyond newsrooms, I’ve collaborated on research projects and creative writing across media.

Whether I’m writing an article, producing a podcast, or diving into research, my goal is simple: to ask better questions and bring meaningful narratives to light.

I believe in the power of lived experiences, indigenous wisdom, and bold ideas. I believe my personal works reflect a blend of traditional beauties, modern storytelling, and an unending desire to understand how people, places, and power intersect.
